"The Best Cat Ever", by Cleveland Amory, Little, Brown and Company, 1993. The third and final volume of a trilogy about Polar Bear the cat and his owner, Cleveland Amory. This book follows "The Cat Who Came for Christmas" and "The Cat and the Curmudgeon". Humorist and humanitarian, Amory is one of America's foremost animal defenders. He is the founder of the "Fund for Animals" which has its headquarters in New York.

"The Cat Who Went to Paris", by Peter Gethers, Crown Publishers, Inc.,1991. The story of Norton, a remarkable Scottish Fold and the people in his life. An experienced traveler, Norton can hold his own at some of the finest dining establishments in the world. Also by the same author-"A Cat Abroad", further adventures of Norton and his humans.

"Cat Stories", by James Herriot, St. Martin's Press, 1994. A beautifully illustrated book of feline stories from the veterinary practice of the late James Herriot. Dr. Herriot wrote a number of bestsellers including "All Creatures Great and Small", "All Things Bright and Beautiful", and "All Things Wise and Wonderful".

You deserve some quality time with a good book and your favorite feline curled up on your lap.
